RON JOHNSON
SENIOR PASTOR
Pastor Ron has been serving at Village in various ministries since 1989, became the Associate Pastor in 1996 and Senior Pastor in 2008. He is married to Susie and they have three children, Mark, Jeffrey, and Alicia. They are committed to serving the body of Christ and glorifying God as a family by living out the core values of Village - Outreach, Community, Spiritual Growth and Ministry - in their daily lives.
Pastor Ron is a graduate of Talbot School of Theology at Biola University, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. He has also taught many classes in the Computer Science department at Biola since his undergraduate days, having earned degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration there.
ANDREW GILMORE
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Andrew, or "Happy" as he is known at Village, oversees the Junior High, College and Missions ministries at Village. He graduated from The Master's University in 2006 with a degree in Communication. His wife Amy graduated the same year with a degree in Biblical Counseling, and they were married shortly after. They have four children: Alice, Emma, Isaiah, and Josiah. Andrew has been on staff at Village since 2008.
Andrew graduated with his M.Div from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University in 2013. Andrew's strong love for God's Word leads to a passion for igniting in others a desire to read, study and apply God's Word. You can find Pastor Andrew on Twitter @happypastor21.
ANDREW "A.J." BESSEY
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Pastor AJ discerned God’s call to pastoral ministry while at camp during his high school years here at Village. Since then, he’s earned his bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and Theology from Biola University, and graduated with his Master of Divinity from Talbot School of Theology in 2018. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry at Talbot. He and Stephanie were married in 2021. Pastor AJ loves reading and teaching the Bible and theology and is currently overseeing our high school and children’s ministry. He has been on staff since 2013.
JOSHUA JAEGER
WORSHIP DIRECTOR
Joshua has been involved in worship ministries at various churches for more than a decade. He has been on staff at Village since 2013. Joshua strives to use his talents for the Lord and has a passion for leading God’s people in worship. Musically, Joshua has played a variety of instruments and has participated in many choral groups throughout his life. His passion for music led him to work for a youth theater program, where he met his wife Sarah. Married in 2010, they had their first little girl, Mathia, in 2012. Joshua and Sarah are dedicated to serving God as a family and bringing glory to God through their lives.
